Hello my name is Briony Howell I work as a Fine Artist, I graduated from De Montfort University in 2007 and currently live in Crawley, West Sussex, England.
I have been passionate about the subject since I was knee high; starting with tables, walls and toys I have since graduated and can now paint and draw on; paper, canvas and board.

The artist progression has not been an easy ride from; pig nosed portraits to the very first oil painting consisting of black, yellow and red (no white, no turps. and white shirt!) It all looked like it was about to go a horrible muddy puddle colour (technical term). But then I found art classes and art teachers. I found paints that weren't water based, 5B pencils and Chinese brushes. I found experience, a Highly Commended art prize, a few more ruined white shirts, coffee, late nights, partying, photography, more partying, massive canvases and some nice contacts that exchanged money for artwork.

Thats it. Happyness. Maybe add a good music CD and another tea and biscuit and I wouldn't have it any other way. Adding to this if you get too bored feel free to browse through the many spelling and grammatical errors which I can get away with by calling 'artistic license' or possibly 'abstract'.
